What one expects from a photography is a strong topic, whatever it is, a story or an abstract topic. Viewers nowadays are quite often pretty good photographers so what they need from an artist/photographer is an extra something to take the plunge with the photographer through his/her journey.

This is exactly what US artist Gregory Crewdson provokes: an extra something.  Every scene is meticulously composed.  No detail is left to chance. It’s like on each photograph there is a whole movie by Hitchock. And the magic with Crewdson is that he puts so many details that each one is a clue that leads to a narration. BCh
